Pastor Dan was blessed to grow up in a home where his parents were dedicated Christians. His father and even his grandfather served in ministry their entire lives. Initially, Pastor Dan resisted God’s call to ministry, but surrendered to God’s call in college. From there, he began to pursue ministry, and throughout college, he served in various ministry capacities.

After graduating from Kentucky Mountain Bible College, he pursued his Masters of Divinity at Liberty Theological Seminary. During that time, he served as a youth pastor at Church @ Grandin Village for 3 years in Roanoke, Virginia. After graduating with his Masters Degree, Dan moved back to Kentucky, where he married his wife Alyssa. 

Pastor Dan served at Jackson First United Methodist Church where he served for almost 8 years. During that time his family grew and he now has three beautiful daughters: Emery (5), Olivia (3), and Annalee (2). Pastor Dan’s wife Alyssa also graduated from Kentucky Mountain Bible College with a degree in education. She later pursued her Masters Degree at Asbury University , and has served as a teacher in private and public settings for the last 7 years. 

After the UMC’s recent denominational issues Dan felt the Lord's leading to move on. Throughout that process, he felt led to serve here at Herrickville. Dan has a passion for discipleship, community involvement, and transformed lives. He is excited about God’s leading and this next chapter of life with this community of believers.
